Paywalled Stink, Stank, Stonk: The Durian of Stonks

When the stocks you love don’t love you back

Some stocks are so irrationally hated, they just might be worth a second look.  This paywalled article is probably a name you already know well, but I believe that it is one of the most hated stocks in the marketplace at the moment.  The last time I dug into the most hated stock in the marketplace, it was Carvana, and while the consensus was that they were going bankrupt, they had $2 billion of unencumbered land to take out secured lending against, and that would provide them with a 4 to 5 year runway at their current burn rate.  The day that Carmax missed earnings, I bought a large position at $3.92 a share, then like an idiot, I sold covered calls at $5.50.

Today I dive into the bleu cheese of stocks, the durian of stocks, it’s not for everyone, but if it’s for you, then you might just love it.
